My art education began on the Victorian Surf Coast, with afternoons spent painting in my parents art studio. I studied Communication Design at RMIT in Melbourne and worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. Now based in the Sydney Eastern Beaches, I am inspired by seascapes, nature and people. I prefer painting from life or on location and try to approach each piece with playful curiosity and an open heart. Watercolour is my preferred medium as it creates its own path and flows where it wants. There's beauty in the mistakes, I love watching colours run into each other to create something new and unexpected.
